Third-Thursday Dinner Party

The upcoming 3RD occurs on November 15. It is our usual early Turkey Day fest. We will be providing the turkey (PLEASE RSVP SO WE KNOW HOW BIG OF A BIRD!!!), and dressing and probably a veggie. Others have already committed to bringing sweet potato casserole and italian mac and cheese. We already have a pretty full table, so please let us know if you are coming...it will help plan the place settings. As always, you are welcome regardless of RSVP...we love you and want to see you.

PLEASE NOTE: Please read about the parking situation below. Our street is experiencing issues due to parking, and we would greatly appreciate you park as we've described below, so that our 3RDs do not add to the problem. Thanks!

Ground rules for all 3RDs

If you want to eat...RSVP ONE WEEK in advance. That is how we plan for food and/or place-settings. Friends and family are ALWAYS welcome in our home, but if you want to ensure there will be food for your belly, and/or determine if you need to bring anything, you need to let us know in advance. This is less important for outright pot-luck nights, but still helps us plan tables, chairs, et cetera. Thanks. You know the digits, or email may be sent to DFA or Smacky at this domain.
The Manor will be open as early as 3-4PM to receive guests.
Dinner is usually intended to be at 8PM.
Even if you can't make it for dinner, PLEASE feel free to drop by for a drink or conversation beforehand. We'd love to see you.
Feel free to bring a guest or two. As long as they are decent folk and you are willing to vouch for them, then your friends are our friends.
While bringing food or drink is always appreciated, mostly we care about seeing you. So if you want to come but fear coming empty-handed, then please leave those fears behind and come for a visit.
We have quite a bit of crash space for those out of towners who wish to attend, or for those who enjoy a bit too much drink.
We live short lives...and our brief time in this reality should not be spent putting off time with friends for tomorrow. Join us...please...even if just for an hour.
PARKING: Please park in and fill the driveway first. Then please park on the even side (our side) of the street only, otherwise obeying all city parking regulations (facing with the flow of traffic, 4 feet from driveways, 30 feet from intersections, etc). THANK YOU!
