My Best Friend Is A Doctor!

Just got the call last night...my best friend in the whole wide weird wonderful awful world just successfully defended his doctoral thesis. He is now Piled Higher, Deeper, and will soon have to be called "Doctor." SPECTACULAR!

He's worked incredibly hard this past decade to get his doctorate. From his studies at UF that started him out in environmental toxicology, to his work at UK, he's one of the most dedicated, hardest-working people I know. Nothing deterred him: the low pay, the near constant harassment from his "boss" slash "mentor". Nothing. He deserves homage for his perseverance.
