Swamped. Buried. Overwhelmed. But I Have A Nano.
Between the holidays, work, and just generally being busy, I haven't had time to do much of anything online. Oh yeah, and the Nano has been destroying what little time I had on my computer. Argh, this thing is frustratingly cool and makes you spend hours upon hours seeking out new and interesting things to pour into your ears.
The holidays were lovely. We got to see family and friends. We spent a lot of time playing with the new Nanos. Most importantly we got to see folks we don't usually get to see that often. Mark and Carolyn (not that they live out of town, just that we don't see them). Vynce was his usually odd and enjoyable self. We got to see Anita and Alan not once but twice, which was delightful.
Work was busy throughout the holidays, and got really busy the first two weeks of the new year. This past week was full of SAN changes I'd been planning for months. Nearly all of it went successfully. We did have a lot of issues, but we were able to work through most of them. Unfortunately, on the last and biggest day of work, we hit a brick wall we couldn't work around. I had to halt that phase of the changes for a week or two until we got afew bits of hardware that were missed in the planning, but otherwise all of the changes went ahead without impact to production operations. A major win. And I learned a hell of a lot in the process.
